A lot can happen in one year in the Science Gallery Network
Take a look through our recent annual reports and reviews.
2022
2022 was a year of significant milestones and achievements across the Science Gallery Network despite the ongoing challenges of Covid 19. We celebrate the ingenuity and resilience of our colleagues across the Science Gallery Network, who continued to produce exhibitions, events and educational programmes that engaged millions of inquiring young minds both in person and online.
As the Network enters its tenth year in 2023, we look forward to exciting new developments and deeper collaborations. Together we endeavour to ensure our initiatives are increasingly youth-led and centred, actively shaping spaces for the crucial conversations of our times with a focus towards the future.
2021
Despite the long lockdowns and social restrictions which made it impossible to programme exhibitions and public events, all the members of the Science Gallery Network demonstrated an outstanding capacity to innovate the formats of public engagement.
Together we quickly learned to navigate a new world taking shape and prepared for the re-opening and restart of many activities.
2020
The pandemic changed the world in many ways in 2020, and it made clear that creativity and interdisciplinarity are absolutely essential not only to survive, but to thrive, despite and in spite of all the challenges we face.
Throughout the year we witnessed how being part of the Science Gallery Network strengthened the resilience and the capacity to act quickly and responsively for all our members.
2019
The year 2019 was bookended by two milestone moments: in January, the announcement of Science Gallery Rotterdam at Erasmus Medical Center; and in December, the agreement with Emory University to proceed in 2020 with Science Gallery Atlanta.
During the 12 months in between these two major achievements, we reached new heights of network activity leveraging the capacity of the Network as never before.
2018
The rapid growth of the Science Gallery Network across four continents is testament to its success, and Network expansion remained a priority in 2018.
