Science Gallery International is the connector of the Network. We provide resources, support, expertise and tools to sustain and elevate the Science Gallery Network.

Science Gallery International nurtures relationships across the Network – inspiring, sharing knowledge and experience, while respecting the distinct knowledge and competencies across the communities of the Network.

We encourage members to find their own expressions of Science Gallery and connect with other locations.

We amplify the Network’s positive impact for young people and local communities, and its transformative potential on education and society.

Our global platform enables art-science collaborations that reimagine the cultural role of universities, amplifying their social impact and influence. 

We create and manages the tools and resources, state of the art technology, digital platforms, intellectual property, unique learning and knowledge exchange, peer support, and much more for our Network members. 

SGI enables a truly global learning experience for university faculty, students and researchers and the local community. These tools and initiatives work to enable member universities to achieve their strategic goals, and ensure that Science Gallery benefits the university at large.

We work to bring creativity, knowledge, innovation and curiosity together in all their forms. We use our convening power to bring our members together and develop common themes and projects to constantly improve the impact and value of Science Gallery locally and globally.

Science Gallery International was established in 2012 based on the success of Science Gallery Dublin at Trinity College Dublin. Governed by a voluntary board, and led by Executive Director Sarah Durcan, the Science Gallery International team is based in Dublin, Ireland.
