Autumn Brown - PhD researcher

Her research explores the way art, science, and society shape one another and how public spaces like Science Gallery Dublin allow people from a variety of backgrounds to come together and imagine the future of scientific research and technological innovation. She is interested in how the culture of science might be transformed by bringing current research and ideas for the future into places which encourage commentary and critique. She has a background in oncology research and a Masters degree in Science Communication and Public Engagement from the University of Edinburgh. Between degrees she worked as the Social Media Manager for Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. She believes everyone is a scientist.
